Today’s Member Spotlight is Victor Fuentes! You’ll have seen Vic in 4:30 pm weekday classes and on Saturday mornings, and the way this guy takes down a WOD is a sight to be seen! And what’s not to love about a guy whose hobbies (outside of CrossFit) are eating and drinking???!!

Do you want to protect those shoulders during Fran on Benchmark Monday? Are you curious about what all this kinesio taping is about that is now rampant in the CrossFit world? Our very own JC is a “Rock Doc”, which means that she applies Rock Tape to your sore and screaming parts. For many it means the difference between being able to move the next day and not. In addition the tape makes injuries heal FAST!  JC is available on Saturday from 12-2PM to tape you up for Fran. Spend $10 to preserve those shoulders while you push and pull your heart out, and find out for yourself what the buzz is all about. Should you have your own tape JC’s magical application is only $8.

Friday’s WOD

Pull-ups. Work kipping or butterfly. If folks are proficient at both of those then scale up to weighted.

WOD
Bear Complex
Complete 5 rounds:
Complete the following cycle 7 times each round:

Power Clean
Front Squat
Push Press
Back Squat
Rack Jerk

Normally time is not a factor with the Bear Complex, but instead of going as heavy as possible we want to go as fast as possible. Weight should be scaled to allow for speed.
