A Confession, and Some Wall Balls

So, we lied. Yes, it’s out there – we are dirty, filthy liars. We told you that today we were going to do “Angie” as our Benchmark WOD, but we’re not. SHOCKING!

I know, I KNOW, you’re soooooooo disappointed!! Well, no fear, we’ll get to “Angie” next Monday, so you’ll still have a chance to endure the joy and delight that is 100 Pull-ups, 100 Push-Ups, 100 Sit-ups and 100 Air Squats (for time) in just a week’s time!

But why the dramatic schedule change, you may ask? Well, we REALLY want you guys to have fun with all of your workouts, and decided that we wanted to take another week of getting you all up-to-speed on your pull-up tolerance so that you’ll be able to get through those pull-ups, and still live to WOD another day. Pull-ups are a tricky thing, and if you are not conditioned up for them, Very Bad Things can happen. And we don’t want that. At. All.

So then, what does this mean for you today?? Well, it means that you’re going to be doing a good few pull-ups this week, so get your hand-grips ready and shave down those callouses. And, in case you are already sobbing and beyond comfort because you REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to do “Angie” TODAY, guess what?? Today you’ll have “Karen” to comfort you in your time of need! Yes, that’s right, Wine Country CrossFitters! 150 of those Wall Balls you love sooooo much for time!

See? We’ve ALWAYS got your best interests at heart!

So, come into the gym today prepared to use those Quadzillas and Tricepsasauruses (among others) for all you’re worth! And, just for fun, we’ll throw in a few pull-ups to get you started for the week!

25 Chest-to-bar Kipping Pull-ups (Not for time. Choose a scaling method that allows your chest (ladies, this is lower than you think) to reach the bar each time)
