Cope Family Day, Squats & Sprints
The obstacle course included a balance beam that required equalibrium, hoops to jump thru that required quick foot work, benches to go up and over, and a mat for summersaults. Each kid did it for time, and many went through a few times in order to improve their score. It was so exciting for each of them to see their name on the board, with their time written next to it!
We also stopped the obstacle course and did a big kids workout in the middle of the day. This WOD included deadlifts, box jumps, kettlebell swings and ring dips. Our intention is to get the word out about our kids and teen programs. If you have ideas or suggestions to help us along those lines, please let us know. In the meantime, thanks to all who stopped by our booth to lend support.
