Today’s Member Spotlight is Richy Perez. You’ll recognize Richy by his infectious smile, amazing athletic ability and welcoming and encouraging personality. But let’s hear from the horse’s mouth what makes him tick!

Started CrossFit: April 2013
Why I Chose CrossFit: I chose crossfit because I was looking for something more intense and challenging. My time at a gym was beginning to be very repetitive and boring to be honest. I love the way crossfit is keeping me well rounded with all types of challenges.
Other Hobbies:  Soccer, music & dancing, LOVE to eat, snowboarding
Go-to WOD Song: Mana- Contra Todo or Trapt- Headstrong

Friday’s Workout

Snatch Complex – Find 1 RM (1 Rep = 1 Snatch Grip Deadlift + 1 Hang Power Snatch + 1 Overhead Squat + 1 Snatch (yes, this means from the floor all the way down into the bottom of the squat)

WOD: 3 Rounds
6 Snatch (115/75)
50 Double-Unders
15 Plate Burpees
20 Walking Lunges with Plate Overhead (45/25)
