Member Spotlight and Box Jumps

Today’s Member Spotlight is Adrianne Koford. You’ve probably seen her, but not in a few weeks, since she just had a baby!! This lady was working out and doing CrossFit with us well into her third trimester – she was WODing for two! I was inspired and impressed and know you will be too! Let’s find out more about this super CrossFit Mom!

Age: 29
Occupation: Stay-at-home mom to 3 kids (4 years, 2 years, and newborn) and part-time at BumRite Diapers, a cloth diaper retail store.
Started CrossFit: Oct 2012
Why I Chose CrossFit: Was tired of the same old thing at traditional gyms. I wasn’t getting results on the treadmill and I was bored! I also wanted to be strong, both physically and mentally.
Other Hobbies: cooking, spending time with friends and family
Go-to WOD Song: I like a variety, but rap for lifting.

Friday’s Workout

Box Jumps:
-Find 1 RM for height
-Practice Rebound Box Jumps (baby steps!!)

WOD: 2-4-6-8-10-8-6-4-2
Power Snatch (from floor, 65% of 1RM)
Toes-to-Bar (work kip)
Box Jumps 24″/20″
