Holiday Gift Drive
This year we are doing an unwrapped toy drive for kids who are 0 to five years old.
Your generosity benefits the Napa County Therapeutic Child Care Center– a Child Start partner program. They work with at-risk families who have children ages 0-3. Risk is determined by reviewing ACES (the Adverse childhood experiences survey). Then, employing the neuro-sequential model of therapeutics and touch points, a team of highly trained child development specialists including teachers, clinicians, and other family support people engage with the entire family to develop a plan of support. The people at this organization enjoy supporting entire families as they develop – this includes parents, grandparents, extended family caregivers, friend caregivers, and children. They see themselves as one part of the village necessary to raise a child!
By adding unwrapped gifts to the gift box we are a part of that village. Let’s do our part to create a happy Christmas time for children in need!
