3 Position Snatch & EMOM
Today, with this 3-position snatch, we are really going to get our technique down solid. When working from the top down–think about proper position in the pull at the hang position, think about how to properly shrug your body right into the overhead squat, think about moving the knees out and back off the floor and bringing the bar with them (so you are not “chasing the bar”). These are all key components of the lift and each one of the 3 positions will help you hone every part of the entire lift. Go get your singlets on!
Also, a quick check in on those of you doing the Whole Life Challenge…how’s it going? It’s a big deal getting to the end of week 4! Lots of end of school year celebrations coming up, Father’s Day, Summer in general. Here’s an interesting discussion about how and when it’s appropriate to be just a “regular” person and when it’s appropriate to be “superhuman” in regards to your diet.
