Wellness Wednesday: Let’s Run!
Can you tell yet that we are into this running thing?!? We are planting seeds that only you can water and germinate. Attend our running clinics. Come into the Sunday Open Gyms to practice that Good Form Running. Put one foot in front of the other. Pay attention to where your eyes gaze. Notice if you are bouncing down the road, or taking your upper body for a ride. See what happens when you push your hips forward, and when you pull them back. Practice. The time is now. You will get better. Quickly!
We know it is awkward to change something as innate as running. We get it! And you’re not alone. You’ve got all the people next to you trying it on for size as well.
The other way to keep improving the jog is to have a goal. Join the WCCF Team for the Zero Cancer 5/10K on September 16. Right there with all of us you can practice your good form running! Don’t want to run but want to participate? We need volunteers and you can sign up in the gym.
