Wine Country CrossFit is quickly growing and in need of a stellar CrossFit Level 1 Coach to teach CrossFit Classes. Friendliness, experience, high energy and commitment to customer service are must haves. Further details are below but please reply ASAP with your resume/qualifications if interested:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Primary trainer responsibility is to teach and lead group CrossFit Classes
  • Secondary responsibilities may include personal training sessions, personal training sales and participating in membership growth activities/events

Job Duties:

  • Lead group CrossFit Classes in an upbeat, professional manner
  • Conduct fitness evaluations
  • Conduct personal training sessions
  • Sell personal training to potential clients
  • Distribute gym literature to walk-in customers and provide information about gym and services
  • Light cleaning and general upkeep of gym and training area before and after classes
  • Responsible for member check-in and tracking attendance with membership software

Job Qualifications/Skills Needed:

  • Current CrossFit Level 1 or higher
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification desired.
  • At least 1 year of group and or personal training experience required (In Senior year of Exercise Science or related field degree program could also meet this requirement)
  • Knowledge of proper lifting mechanics, as well as group exercise instruction
  • Strong verbal communications skills and upbeat, friendly demeanor
  • Ability to work with limited supervision is key
  • Good problem solving skills and ability to adapt a workout quickly
  • Ability to adapt to individual member needs and limitations
  • Strong motivation skills while also being a soft encourager
  • Respect the confidentiality of business data and personal information of both staff and members
  • Sales experience preferred but not required.

Hours and Pay:

  • Pay rate is directly related to coaching experience
  • Personal training compensation is in addition
  • Part-time CrossFit Coach
  • Personal training varies (Ability for growth)
  • Group classes are offered in early morning, daytime and evening hours, weekdays and weekends
