Starting 'em Young, High Bar Back Squat

Jim Agger missed getting into the gym the other day, so he did a workout in his garage. Young Wyatt quickly got in on the action, and I’m so glad we are creating such good role models!

Thursday’s WOD

 

High Bar Back Squat – Find 1 RM
–   Coaches’ note: If athlete is recently out of OnRamp, they will be working on the Low Bar Back Squat
– After 1 RM, perform an unbroken* set of 20 squats at either:
– If this is your first set of 20, reduce weight to 75% of 1 RM and complete a set of 20.
–    If you completed the heavy set of twenty last week or the week before: add 5lbs to your weight from last week.
* NO RE-RACKING THE WEIGHT.  If you need to rack the weight in the middle, you are finished, and we will reduce to a lower weight next week.
o    As time allows, alternate:
8-8-8 Romanian Deadlifts
3 sets of 10 Hollow Rocks and 10 Tuck Crunches
