Paleo Potluck, Snatch, Clean, Tabata

The Paleo Potluck is this Friday night, June 14 at 6.30PM. It will be held on the patio overlooking the river at The General Store at the very end of Main St, hosted by our very own Jim Brandt who works out in the 8AM classes. This gathering is in celebration of the 45 day Paleo Challenge that is coming to a close, and it is open to ALL members of Wine Country CrossFit. Jim has a rotisserie that we will fire up, and the plan is to start eating at 7.00. Please rsvp to beth@wincountrycrossfit.com, and please know that friends and family are welcome.

Dave was a friend from high school that had put on a few lbs. Four years ago he got started with Paleo, and within a year he looked like this! It all started with a 45 day challenge.

Full Squat Snatch – Work up to 80% of 1 RM (see 5/1, 5/8 or 6/7), then perform 3 Sets of 4 @ 80% of 1 RM
Full Squat Clean – Work up to 80% of 1 RM of Squat Clean (see 5/3 or 4/24), then perform 5 sets of 3 reps @ 80 of 1 RM
WOD: Mixed Tabata (Alternate 8 Rounds of Each, 16 Rounds (8 min) Total)
-Burpees
-Kettlebell Swings (44/70)
Your score is the combination of the lowest number of burpees and lowest number of kettlebell swings
