New Masseuse and Gymnastics

By: 0

I am overjoyed to announce that Mitzi Andros is joining the Wine Country CrossFit staff as a masseuse. She is very experienced, and her hands are powerful, authoritative and effective. Her style is very different than JC’s structural integration, (which I also like a LOT) and last week when I got off her table I felt like a new person. She will be available on Wednesdays 8AM -4PM in the treatment room in the gym. Read below for more about her:

“THIS AIN’T YOUR MOMMA’S MASSAGE!” is how one client described Mitzi Andros’ work. She took her first class in massage therapy back in 1991 in San Francisco at the International school of Massage Therapy, where she became a CMT. Mitz’is work, although based in Swedish massage, is influenced by the many classes and great teacher’s she has studied with over all those year’s of working on bodies. And there is nothing like working on bodies, has to be in the 1,000’s by now, to gain the knowledge, intuition, and humbleness that this brings to her work.  She uses a multitude of modalities including deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial release, acupressure and Swedish, blending them to create unique therapy sessions to help restore balance to the body and facilitate optimal tissue function and healthy range of motion. She has treated clients who have recent as well as old injuries, injuries due to overuse, weekend warriors, cancer patients, joint replacements, clients who have diabetes, fibromyalgia, need pain management as well as pre and post natal and more…Many a devoted client have described Mitzi’s work as’ more than just a massage’, she describes her style as firm but nurturing.  Over the year’s she has worked in exclusive Hotels, spa’s, chiropractor and acupuncture office’s as well as private clients which have included the Warrior’s, celebrities  and even once almost President Clinton. Mitzi enjoy’s living and working in Napa and giving back to her community that has given her so much. Come giver her a try, you’re body will thank you!
