Help Napa Recover: Shop Locally
Help Napa Recover: Shop Locally
The last two weeks have wreaked havoc on Napa and Sonoma Counties. The Atlas Fire alone destroyed 741 structures. Two people who are active in our gym community lost their homes, and countless others whom we count as friends and acquaintances are down to nothing.
Now we enter the recovery phase, and the damage is psychological, structural and financial. We will hold a fundraiser in the gym very soon. In the meantime we can help Napa recover by shopping locally.
Ways To Shop Local
-Eat at locally owned restaurants instead of chains
-Buy your veggies at Hudson Ranch Market in the Oxbow instead of the Big Chain grocery stores
-Pick up your coffee at a local roaster instead of Starbucks
-Shop at consignment and second hand stores as the proceeds get into the hands of individual people who were potentially affected by the fires
-Purchase what you need in a local shop instead of The Outlets or a department store
Remember that your dollars count, and your intention of where they’re spent makes a difference. Please help Napa Recover by shopping locally.
