Dr. Adam & ART, Double WOD Day

By: 0

Last week I spent half an hour on Dr. Adam’s table while he performed ART on my shoulders. Art is some serious soft tissue work that is a patented, state of the art system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. I was really impressed with his knowledge of anatomy. Though his treatment was limited to my shoulders, ART is really effective on headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow, to name just a few. Best part, these problems can often  be resolved quickly and permanently with ART.

I had heard about Dr. Adam because he is a chiropractor who works with Dr. Lazarus, of whom I am a big fan. But it was when two of our athletes found relief from tenacious problems that he really caught my attention. Dave Power of the 6AM class was really struggling with a nagging shoulder injury, and Dr. Adam brought about complete resolution with ART. Angelica Moore of the 9AM class spent years in ballet shoes before discovering CrossFit, and she arrived with a seemingly unsolvable hamstring problem. After not getting results from a straight forward approach, Dr. Adam went back to his books and discovered the potential culprit. Though the solution was far from obvious, his tenacious inquiry brought resolution.

Do you have some nagging aches and pains that might derail your CrossFit progress? If so, please consider Dr. Adam as a source of relief.
