Cleans & Double Unders & Yoga

Special Yoga Class on Sat, 11AM

 

Attending the Yoga class on Saturday accomplishes three things at once (at least !).

-First, you are working on your own flexibility (both mental and physical) which is key for CrossFit.

-Second, you are supporting First Descents with your $10-20 donation, an organization that provides whitewater kayaking experiences for cancer survivors. One participant claims that “Cancer taught me about death, and kayaking taught me how to live!” On a personal note cancer tried to take my twin sister’s live, and kayaking definitely saved my life! So you can see this is a big day for me.

-Third, you are exercising your adventurous nature by trying something new.

 

Bring your own mat if you have one, and see you there!

Friday’s WOD

 

  • Work up to 70% of Full Squat Clean 1 RM
  • Perform 5 Sets of 1 3-Position Full Squat Clean
    • 1 Rep equals (1 Position 1 Clean + 1 Position 2 Clean + Position 3 (Floor) Clean + Split Jerk)
    • Rest 60-90 seconds between each set
  • WOD: 3 Rounds
    • 50 Double unders
    • 10 Front Squats @ 165/115lbs
