10 Signs You're Gluten Intolerant and Snatch Work

10 Signs You’re Gluten Intolerant

I happened upon this really great article on Gluten Intolerance last week, and wanted to share it with you.

What really impressed me the most when reading this is how important it is to eliminate gluten 100% from your diet if you are attempting to determine whether or not you have a negative reaction to it.

This can sometimes conflict with the idea that an 80/20 (90/10 or 60/40) approach to the Paleo/Primal lifestyle is a viable option.

What it really boils down to is how YOU feel when you reintroduce gluten into your diet. I know that when I first began to test my own gluten sensitivity, I didn’t notice how bad I felt when eating it until I had gone 100% without it for several weeks, and then introduced it back. Holy hell, I felt SOOOOOOOOO horrible! And no wonder, considering that this was happening when I did eat it:

Anyway, read the article, take it to heart yourself, recommend it to a friend, or post your comment if you have a different point of view.

  1. A great book that talks about how bad gluten is for you even if you don’t suffer from any effects presently is “Grain Brain” by Dr. David Perlmutter. He is not only a nutritionist but also a neurologist and has done extensive research on the effects of gluten on the brain. It’s scary and I’m convinced. I’m not going to suffer the way my father did by eating too many carbs containing gluten, not enough fat, and took cholesterol lowering drugs. These things all led to his alziemers disease.
