What’s This Open Thing Anyway???

What's This Open Thing Anyway???The Open is a collection of five workouts spread over five weeks. EVERYONE in the CrossFit Community does them, and we want YOU to join the fun!

Some people complete these workouts to make their way to the CrossFit Regional Competition. Some folks do them to compete with their workout buddy. Most of us do it to compete with ourselves.

The Open is a perfect way to learn more about the CrossFit movements as we really focus on detail even more than usual during the five weeks. You can finally do the handstand push up, but do your heels hit the wall in just the right spot!? I guess we will find out during The Open!

Each Thursday at 5PM there is a worldwide announcement  about the WOD for the week. On Fridays at 5PM we gather as a community and complete the WOD. There will be judges. There will be heats. There will be tears.

The Open workouts are scaled for all abilities. If you are a beginning CrossFitter The Open is for you. If you are intermediate, it’s for you. If you are advanced or pro, then have at it!

Every Friday we will program The Open WOD for our classes. So you will be exposed to the WOD. But why not sign up and get judged by an actual person with a clipboard who watches your every movement?!?
