Split Jerk
Check this out. At around :35 the clean and jerk is shown. The winner goes into a split jerk. When that weight starts to get heavy, you better believe you want to start dropping under that bar in a split stance.
I encourage you on the WOD to take the time to perfect that jerk landing! You have 30 chances to get it right, so use all of them to your utmost and don’t get lazy and just put the weight over your head just for the sake of doing it.
