The Skinny on Fats, Snatches & Kettlebells
I have long been fascinated by fats, and the personal revelation that occurred once Paleo took a stronghold on my life. I grew up in the “fats are bad” era, and was told that too many of them would be my ruin. I now consistently say “it’s not the fats that kill us” when people tell me I eat too much bacon and red meat and olive oil, eggs, etc. Turns out it is fats that can kill us, if they are the wrong kind (hint: trans fats) but the right kinds keep us healthy and strong. Check out this recent article from the NY Times Science section, and you too might be just as fascinated with fats!
