Rookie Rumble and Cleans
The Rookie Rumble was last weekend in Hercules, and this fun event has the following rules:
***RULES***
Only 1 year experience, give or take
NO coaches or personal trainers
Never competed in an RX competition
Never placed top 5 in any CF competition
Cannot RX most WODs
Our very own Arienne (AP) Prange and Esmeralda (Amy) Ochoa made a showing and as you can see they had quite a support team with them!
Esme reports that “it was a great learning experience. It was good to step out of my comfort zone. It fired me up! At first I didn’t know what I got myself into, but at the end I felt accomplished. I only train 2 or 3 times a week cuz of my work and school schedule, but my performance showed me that the exercise is doing its job, and I know I could be that much better if I could get in the gym 5 times a week. It was also great seeing how supportive people are in the CrossFit community.”
