POSE RUnning and running WOD
CrossFit is all about doing more work in less time, or increasing our work capacity. But, if I’m already a decent runner why should I bother learning this NEW method of putting one foot in front of the other? Changing what I already know how to do will only slow me down, and re-learning something so innate will be awkward and weird!
Yes, it might be awkward and weird for a minute, but the effort will pay off. This style of running is like taking the body for a ride, so it is less jarring. The feet and hips hurt less, and as you’ll see in this short video by the BBC, it takes less effort to generate the same speed, ala CrossFit. Come on in for some fun!
