Operation Hat Trick
We had the honor this weekend to host Operation Hat Trick. Here’s the back story:
Nathan Hardy was a Navy Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) who died on February 4, 2008 serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The Helmet is to raise awareness and exposure for Operation Hat Trick who’s main mission is to generates awareness, support and funding for the recovery of America’s wounded service members and veterans.
Operation Hat Trick (OHT) was established in part by Nate’s Family and is dedicated to Nate Hardy and Mike Koch (also a Navy Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL). Nate and Mike trained together, fought together and died together in Iraq. They are now buried together at Arlington National Cemetery. Since 2014 OHT has donated over $1 million to selected organizations and has helped fill some critical gaps in care. OHT is truly making a difference in the lives of those in need.
There are few helmets traveling the world to raise awareness. Thanks to Joe and Melissa Stella who brought the helmet. We are glad to be supporters, and our hearts go out to Nate and Mike’s families who we know miss them to this day.
