Social Calendar Update
More Social Calendar stuff! 8am girls Katie and Veronica are rallying the WCCF troops to sign up for the Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival 12K on Sunday morning, September 29 in Sonoma (that’s 7.5 miles).
A note from the ladies themselves:
The race description says it all: “There is no place more stunning in wine country than Sonoma Valley on a late September morning. The inaugural Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival 12K run will take you through some of the most scenic areas of downtown Sonoma, through vineyards, and majestic tree covered roads. ” Doesn’t that sound AWESOME?
Even if you kinda dislike running (ahem, Katie), or are winning 5Ks (ahem, Veronica), this will be a super-fun way to get some great exercise and test out the theory that CrossFit can prepare you for ANYTHING. And: there’s WINE at the finish line! ‘Nuff said!
Event registration info is here. If you sign up, please shoot me an email at katiemelon@gmail.com so we will know who to expect. We can even set up carpools from the box, if people are interested.
Hope you can join us!
Katie + Veronica
Sounds like a great opportunity to take your CrossFit training into the Wild! Thanks for organizing, Katie and Veronica!
