Set Goals and Accomplish More!
The other day, a member came to me and said “I have a few things I want to work on, and here they are…” He listed them off to me, and then I said, “Great! Go put them on the Goals Board!” Then I realized that not all of our newer members are familiar with the goals board (and some of our older members could do with a refresher). Well, here is an introduction:
In addition to our Monthly Challenge (double-unders in August and handstands in September) we encourage our members to set goals for themselves and list those goals (along with a deadline) on the board that is to the left of the big roll-up door. Then, come early to every class, and maybe even stay later now and then, and PRACTICE THAT SKILL!
The only way you’ll achieve your goals to master specific skills is to practice them, but putting them up on the wall for all to see can also help light the fire!
So, I better start seeing some new goals up there soon. Who’s going to be first????
