Funnest 5K Ever!
Battle of the Rattle is the Funnest 5K I’ve ever run, and I have run a lot of’ ’em! This race starts at the bottom of Rattle Snake Mountain in Reno, NV at 10AM on Saturday September 29, and goes straight up the skree-slope hillside. People fall like flies all around ya, and you just keep going up! Once at the top the course follows a combination of fire road and single track through the Nevada desert, winding its way 4K later back to the start. All eyes must be constantly on the trail due to the instability of the terrain, and best of all; it’s a costume race!
