We have lots going on this weekend! There is the Zero Prostate 
Cancer Run on Saturday morning at 8AM. This fun community event was started by three Napa sisters who lost their dad to prostate cancer. In a grass-roots fashion they have built this event with their hearts, and each year it is bigger and better.
Wine Country CrossFit provides the pre-race warm up for the event. Have you seen Coach JC in front of a crowd with a microphone?!? Don’t miss out on this one as she is a ……HOOT!
This feel-good event has a super-heroes 100m dash for the kids. It has a one mile walk, and the 5/10K option. There are prizes for every category under the sun, so everyone wins. There is a great breakfast at the finish line with music, speakers, raffles and fun. Please consider joining the Wine Country CrossFit Team! Online registration is closed, but you can sign up on Friday at Athletic Feat, and on race day at 7.30 at Kennedy Park just below the college at the track. Everyone on the WCCF Team wears a grey WCCF shirt. Let us know if you need one and we will provide!
In addition to all the fun at the Zero Prostate Cancer Run we have five members from our gym who will compete in the Femme Royale at CrossFit Napa Valley. This team event is just for women, and each team completes three WODS. Competing are Coaches Hilary and Liz, Irina Grinevich and Beverlee Rabanal from the 6AM class, and Lena Septimo who is a known fixture at WCCF! We wish them all luck on Saturday! After you finish with the Zero Cancer Prostate Run please go over the CrossFit Napa Valley and cheer them on!
