Fourth Annual Napa River Paddle Day
Wine Country CrossFitters, family, and friends of the active community, let’s spread the word about the Fourth Annual Napa River Paddle Day on September 24th!
Beginning at 10 A.M., Napa River Paddle Day is an opportunity for the community to explore our river while learning about local river sport activities via the Napa Valley Yacht Club, Ohana Wa’a Outrigger Canoe Club, and other Napa River businesses. Canoe and kayak rides, stand up paddle board lessons, and a paddle sports race are just some of the activities planned for the day. On land, participants can enjoy boating safety demonstrations, music, food, raffle prizes, a silent auction, and much more! Race entry fees and food purchases go toward supporting the Ohana Wa’a Keiki (youth) paddler scholarship fund.
This event is intended to be social, educational, and an opportunity for locals and paddlers outside of Napa to become more familiar with river sport activities on the Napa River. No water sports experience is necessary to participate, and appropriate instruction will be provided by the Ohana Wa’a Outrigger Canoe Club and High Water Stand Up Paddle.
This event is free to the public, and fees apply to race entries.
