Final Events Events for Group Training and Strength Day

Group Traing Opportunities!

Alright, you animals! So, we’ve had a couple of sign-ups for events, and they are (drum-roll please)

  • NorCal Tough Mudder
  • Sacramento Spartan Race

These are the only two that had sign-ups, so it’s what we’ll work on as a CrossFit Box and will help you train for!

If you sign-up for anything else and want some company, we can help you by either posting it on the blog, or you can post it to our Social Calendar Board at the gym.

Tuesday’s Workout

High Bar Back Squat – Work up to 75-85% of your 1 RM*, then perform 5 sets of 5 reps at that weight – rest 1 minute between sets

Shoulder Press – Work up to 75-85% of your 1 RM*, then perform 5 sets of 5 reps at that weight – rest 1 minute between sets

*Weight should be enough that the last rep of 5 for sets 1-4 is difficult, and especially difficult for set 5. (See 1/8 for previous 1 RM)

GHD** Back Extensions – 3 Sets of 10 to 20 reps

**Sub anchored back extensions or super mans
