Elements Classes and Jerk Practice
Starting in March we will introduce Elements Classes at 9AM on Tuesday and Thursday, and at 6.30 PM Monday-Thursday. These classes are open to everyone, but are designed as a bridge between On Ramp and our Level I Classes. The Elements Classes are designed to promote and enhance your health and fitness. Participants are exposed to a wide variety of movements with a focus on proper mechanics. The Elements Classes are great for beginners because they focus on movement quality rather than intensity, but the workouts are not just for beginners. Like everything in our gym these workouts are scalable and can be made as difficult as one could imagine. Look for these new offerings in early March!

Thursday’s WOD
Jerk Practice –
Beginner – Push Press + Push Jerk, practice form at light-medium weight
Intermediate – Split Jerk, practice form at light-medium weight
Advanced – Split Jerk, find 1 RM
WOD – Push-Pull (6 min time limit)
50 Push-ups (limit time to 3 minutes)
50 Pull-ups (limit time to 3 minutes)
THEN, with a Partner
6 minutes of Alternating* 10 m Prowler Pushes (45/25)
*One partner pushes for one 10 m length while the other partner rests, then they switch
OPTIONAL Cash-out –
Three attempts at maximum effort unbroken wall balls. Choose a weight at which you can achieve at least 20 repetitions. Rest 1 min between sets.
